Alex, Optician



Hey there! My name is Alex. I have been a part of the 20/20 optometry of Silicon Valley family for the past 5 years now. I was formally the front desk manager, but, I am now proudly celebrating my 3^rd year as an Optician. I was trained by our senior optician, Shaun, who has taught me how to help patients select the perfect frame for their lifestyle needs and provide solutions for their optical needs. Frame selection allows me to be fun and creative. It is amazing to be able to connect with patients one on one. I enjoyed giving my personal attention to my clients when I worked at my dad’s family business prior to working at this office; I am now able to deliver that same excellent customer service to our patients and I am grateful to have that similar sense of family here at 20/20 Optometry of Silicon Valley. 

Despite being born and raised in San Jose, Ca growing up my parents made it a point to travel to Mexico often to ensure that my siblings and I stay connected to our roots and the culture of our ancestors.

 I would say that my biggest accomplishment is being a loving mother to my two daughters. Avery, who is five years old, and Valentina, who is one year old, they are my entire world. I cherish every moment I spend with them and I enjoy watching them grow and learn new things.

As a full time working mom I do not get much free time, but when I do, my family and I love exploring new places and trying all kinds of food! I am also a big fan of true crime and horror movies (I only watch when the kids are not around of course).
